Raised on a farm in Southwest Oklahoma, Vikki has been connected to agriculture for most of her life. A graduate of Midwestern State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Vikki spent 20 years in the banking industry before joining the ANHP team.

Steve grew up in the restaurant industry and worked around livestock, so it was only natural that he combined those interests to purchase the landmark Black Angus Steakhouse in Sioux Falls, SD.
He then moved to the packer side of the business, and over the years worked with Monfort, Swift & Co. and ConAgra. Joining American Homestead has brought him full circle, with a return to family farming, sustainable raising practices and an insider’s look at the “farm to table” journey.
Steve lives in Ft. Collins, Colorado, and when he’s not at work you can find him out enjoying the Rocky Mountains.
Rodney comes to American Homestead with 23 years of farm, ranch, and natural and organic experience. At the age of 12, Rodney started working on a dairy farm in East Texas and soon learned that the natural and organic food industry was in his blood. In 1993, he began a twelve-year tenure with a small family-owned natural and organic beef plant. Rodney’s “hands-on” work ethic learned as a child combined with the knowledge he gained in the natural beef industry makes him uniquely suited to help AHNP thrive.
Rodney and his wife, Cathy, reside in the dusty West Texas town of Childress with their three children, Arial, Addy, and Alex. Rodney enjoys spending his spare time with his children and helping his wife with her business venture.
Carl joined American Homestead Natural Pork in 2010, bringing over 40 years of agricultural experience to the team. A third generation farmer, Carl Van Roekel handles AHNP’s logistics and transportation, and farms 300 acres in Northwest Iowa, growing non-GMO crops not only for his 500 hogs but also for other American Homestead farmers nearby.
Carl, his wife, Wendy, and daughters Amber and Josie are very active in their local church and community, and enjoy camping, coaching youth sports and golfing (some of the family enjoys golf more than other family members).
Jarrod has been around farming all his life and has a true passion for agriculture. Now AHNP’s NON-GMO specialist, Jarrod completed an internship with AHNP and then joined our team right after graduating from Tarleton State University with a degree in Agriculture and Consumer Sciences.
Jarrod and his wife, Lindsey, live in Vernon, Texas, with dogs Addy and Emma, where they enjoy working on their farm and being outdoors
Born and raised in Vernon, Texas, Jimmy has spent more than 30 years in the pork processing industry. Before joining AHNP, Jimmy spent many years in management at a major meat processing company. From day one, Jimmy’s goal within the processing industry has been to produce superior, quality products that set themselves apart. He brings that same commitment to AHNP, while enjoying the benefits of a “family” work environment and the chance to be involved in the business from beginning to end.
Jimmy and his wife Sharon have two daughters, Ashley Bloom and Mallory Bell. They have three wonderful grandchildren, Davis Bloom, Lilly Bloom, and Foster Tate Bell. Jimmy enjoys spending time with family, friends, music, and an occasional round of golf.
